sewn is an immersive guzheng and embodied mark-making performance developed for Auckland Pride Festival 2025. The work examines how a racialised, gender-nonconforming migrant body is held, constrained and sustained through sound, duration, and material action. Made with support from the Pride Empowerment programme. Created in collaboration with cinematographer Nick Willoughby and photographer Karen Ishiguro.
