“What does it mean to be home?” Vessel 容器 is a contemplation of the journey of assimilation. Born from a place of necessity and urgency, Zed Xu shows a performative painting practice that invites the audience to follow the sensory experience where salt, biodegradable Chinese calligraphy ink, and movement grant newly found meanings of belonging.
